1. Overview
This policy outlines the cancellation and refund procedures for flight bookings made through TreviaTrip. By completing a booking, you agree to adhere to these terms and any additional airline-specific conditions.
2. Cancellation by Client
2.1 Cancellation Timeframe
- Clients may cancel their booking via the “Manage Booking” page by providing their PNR and email address.
- Requests for cancellation must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Some airlines may allow cancellations within 24 hours with additional fees.
2.2 Cancellation Fees
- Cancellation fees depend on the airline’s fare rules and may vary by route, fare class, and time of cancellation.
- Any applicable service charges imposed by TreviaTrip will be clearly stated during the cancellation process.
2.3 Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are subject to airline policies. Non-refundable fares will not be eligible for a refund, but may qualify for a credit voucher depending on the airline.
- Refundable fares will be processed minus any cancellation fees and processing charges.
3. Cancellation by Carrier
3.1 Flight Cancellation or Schedule Change
- If an airline cancels your flight, you will be notified as soon as possible with alternative options or a full refund.
- Significant schedule changes (e.g., departure time changed by more than 3 hours) also entitle you to a full refund or rebooking at no additional cost.
3.2 Rebooking Options
- Carriers may offer rebooking on the next available flight. Details will be provided in your cancellation notification.
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Processing Time
- Once a cancellation is confirmed, refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days, depending on the airline and payment method.
- Credit card refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement.
4.2 Refund Method
- Refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment whenever possible.
- If the original payment method is unavailable (e.g., expired card), TreviaTrip may issue a refund via an alternative method (e.g., bank transfer).
4.3 Non-Refundable Components
- Some fees, such as ticketing or administrative service charges, may not be refundable. These will be clearly specified in the fare rules.
5. Partial Refunds & No-Shows
- If you travel on a return or multi-leg journey and miss a segment (“no-show”), subsequent segments may be automatically canceled with no refund for unused portions.
- Partial refunds for missed segments are not guaranteed and depend on airline policy.
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Medical or Compassionate Grounds
- In cases of serious illness, medical emergencies, or bereavement, airlines may waive cancellation fees. You must provide appropriate documentation (e.g., doctor’s note, death certificate).
6.2 Force Majeure
- In events beyond anyone’s control (e.g., natural disasters, government travel bans), airlines may offer vouchers or full refunds. TreviaTrip will facilitate the process as per airline directives.
7. How to Request a Refund
- Log in to “Manage Booking” with your PNR and email address.
- Select “Cancel Booking” and follow on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
- Once cancellation is confirmed, your refund will be initiated automatically. You will receive an email confirmation with refund details.
